The PA Energy Games is a festival that seeks to showcase the entire energy industry in Pennsylvania. The goal of the PA Energy Games is to show Pennsylvanians the true impact energy has on people’s everyday lives and the economy throughout the state.

At the PA Energy Games, the talented Pennsylvanians in the energy industry are celebrated and showcased through friendly competitions that are designed to education the public. Consumers learn about safely developing and distributing energy to homes and businesses.

The inaugural PA Energy Games took place on September 7^th, 2013 at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville, Pennsylvania. Coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, solar, wind, biodiesel, and biomass were all types of energy that were represented at the inaugural games. From the very beginning, the Games have been about celebrating all varieties of energy throughout the state.

This year, the third annual PA Energy Games will take place on Saturday, August 1^st, in the same location, which is just east of Williamsport.

Here are just a few of the events that are scheduled for this year’s festival:

• Truck Show
• Heavy Equipment Rodeo
• Several all-day exhibits
• An awards ceremony
• Concert with free admission: Chris Higbee, a Nashville recording artist and fellow Pennsylvanian, will perform live on stage with other regional artists.
